HOSTING today announced a definitive agreement to acquire Ntirety, Inc. a Boston-based database administration company. The acquisition unites HOSTING’s managed cloud hosting and professional services platforms with Ntirety’s Oracle, SQL Server and MySQL remote and on-premise data services. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. The parties anticipate that the acquisition will close before the end of March.

“The Ntirety acquisition further enables HOSTING to address one of the primary challenges faced by mid-sized enterprises today: how to seamlessly host, manage and protect their mission-critical applications and data in the cloud,” said Art Zeile, HOSTING CEO. “We are thrilled that both our cloud solutions and customer-oriented culture dovetail so well with Ntirety’s and look forward to many great benefits to come for our customers, employees and stakeholders.”

Headquartered in Denver, HOSTING serves more than 3,000 customers from six data centers spread throughout various high volume areas of the country. It will leverage Ntirety’s existing brand, staffing and operational framework from the company’s current Boston location.

“Ntirety’s success has been driven by the same innovative focus on people, process and technology that HOSTING brings to bear,” said Michael Corey, founder and CEO of Ntirety. “This deal unites two IT powerhouses to form a cloud computing offering – and customer experience – second to none.”

HOSTING has redefined the managed cloud services market by focusing on delivering fast, effective and reliable support across its various platforms. Its network performance, systems performance and CPU speed were all found by Cloud Spectator to outperform Amazon Web Services and Rackspace in independent monitoring. Further, the company’s unified support model drives the leading customer net promoter score in the industry and has become the benchmark against which other cloud service providers are judged.
