MedCap was formed in July 2000 to acquire 116 medical office buildings in sixteen states with concentrations in Texas, Tennessee and Florida. MedCap purchased these assets from HCA. Pamlico initially invested in MedCap in 2000 and exited in 2003 when the company was sold.
