Bio

Charlie Cumbaa is a former Executive Vice President of Corporate and Product Strategy at Blackbaud. During his tenure, he also served as president of the Enterprise Business Unit and led the company’s mergers and acquisitions activities. Previously, Charlie served as an executive vice president with Intertech Information Management and president and chief executive officer of Cognitech, Inc., a software company he founded. Earlier in his career, he was employed by McKinsey & Company. Charlie holds a BA from Mississippi State University and an MBA from Harvard Business School. He is a member of the board of directors of ARMCO, a privately held company that provides outsourced services for hospital billing and reimbursement, and a former board member of Dexter-Chaney a privately held software company that provides ERP solutions to the construction industry. A committed member of the community, he serves on the board of directors of the Pi Kappa Alpha Foundation and previously served on the boards of the Charleston Symphony Orchestra and East Cooper Habitat for Humanity.
