Founded in 2004, CLEARLINK is a rapidly-growing provider of customer acquisition services to a number of the largest providers of home services in the U.S., including DISH Network, ADT Security Services, AT&T, CenturyLink and Verizon.  CLEARLINK utilizes a diverse selection of online and offline marketing techniques to generate in-bound phone calls, which are converted into paying subscribers via an in-house sales center.  Driven by a unique culture and a passionate focus on creativity, CLEARLINK leads the industry in customer conversion and unmatched quality adherence.

After spending considerable time investigating online marketing business models, Pamlico was introduced to CLEARLINK Technologies in 2010. Founder and CEO, Phil Hansen, was seeking a growth-oriented private equity partner to buy out one of his partners who was not involved with the business. Pamlico was ultimately selected as CLEARLINK’s preferred partner based on our understanding of the space and Phil’s goal of creating a strong relationship with investors that could help him scale the business.  

Since closing the deal, CLEARLINK and Pamlico have worked together extensively, setting strategic goals, identifying new growth verticals, and strengthening the management team with several key additions, including a new CFO. The company has also acquired several key web domains and continues to review various complementary acquisition targets. As a result of these strategic initiatives, management has grown CLEARLINK’s revenues at over 40% annually and expanded the company’s employee base to more than 1,000 FTEs. CLEARLINK has been honored as One of America’s Best Places to Work and as the 10th Fastest Growing company in Utah, while CEO, Phil Hansen, was recognized as one of Ernst & Young’s Entrepreneurs of the Year in 2013. 

CLEARLINK remains a current Pamlico portfolio company, and we are actively working with Phil and the team to identify acquisition candidates, to explore new verticals, and to manage what continues to be phenomenal growth.
