HOSTING Strengthens its AWS Service Offerings with Acquisition of DevOps Expert Stelligent Systems

Advances solution delivery within the public cloud by merging automated DevOps competencies with end-to-end managed services on AWS

Mar 21, 2017

HOSTING, a provider of managed cloud services, today announced that it has acquired Stelligent Systems, LLC, a provider of DevOps automation and continuous delivery solutions within the Amazon Web Services (AWS) public cloud. HOSTING will integrate Stelligent capabilities into its managed and professional services platforms, broadening its solution scope to further support mid-sized and enterprise organizations developing and hosting applications on AWS.

"The combination of HOSTING and Stelligent will create even greater value for customers by guiding their success throughout the application lifecycle” said Charles Cole, executive director, Digital Media Group, at Sony Pictures Entertainment.

Stelligent is an AWS Partner Network (APN) Advanced Consulting Partner focused on providing DevOps automation on AWS that enables customers to continuously deploy their applications with greater speed, agility and efficiency. With the addition of these capabilities, HOSTING will be poised to deliver high-value, complementary managed services and solutions to AWS customers throughout the application lifecycle. To further guide delivery, Stelligent co-founders Paul Duvall and Rob Daly will join HOSTING as CTO and executive vice president of Public Cloud Consulting, respectively.

“Stelligent has been a visionary force in the DevOps market since its inception and has cultivated a staff of experts with a rare and specialized skillset wholly focused on continuous delivery in the AWS Cloud,” said Joel Daly, HOSTING CEO. “The addition of this depth of talent to the HOSTING suite of services will afford our customers even more opportunities to achieve significant ROI from their public cloud deployments.”

Headquartered in Denver, HOSTING delivers managed cloud services on public, private and hybrid platforms for more than 2,000 customers. In 2015, it introduced the HOSTING Unified Cloud, a unique solution set of management, security, monitoring and spend optimization offerings on the industry’s leading cloud platforms, including AWS Cloud.

HOSTING has built a leadership position in the market via consistent execution and strategic acquisition, including NeoSpire in 2011 and Ntirety in 2014. With the addition of Stelligent, HOSTING will focus its business efforts on full lifecycle solutions within the public cloud, including AWS and Azure.

“Stelligent’s DevOps automation solutions have always enabled customers to minimize their lead times to deploy their software systems, be confident in what they deploy, and experiment with ease,” said Paul Duvall, Stelligent co-founder and new HOSTING CTO. “Now in conjunction with HOSTING, we’re thrilled to be able to provide full lifecycle and 24/7 solutions with the same expert team.”

Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. More information about the acquisition can be found at www.HOSTING.com/FAQs or via live presentation on March 24 at 3:00-3:45 pm ET. Register at http://www.hosting.com/resources/webinars/?commid=250799.
