Bio
Connie Taylor has over thirty years of experience in the enterprise software industry, with a primary focus on leading large, global development teams that deliver advanced supply chain software solutions. Throughout her career, Connie’s technical, collaboration, and leadership skills have made a significant and enduring impact across various companies. Her contributions include improving product quality and delivery operations alongside spearheading major technology transformations.
As the former Vice President of Development and Operations at Manhattan Associates, Connie orchestrated the creation of the company's pioneering cloud-native, industry-leading omnichannel solution. This innovation, coupled with her dedication to fostering STEM careers and education within her community, earned her the prestigious 2017 Atlanta Women in Technology Woman of the Year Award.
Currently, Connie serves as a Professor of Practice at Clemson University’s School of Computing. In this role she utilizes her industry experience to educate and mentor the next generation of computer scientists. Additionally, Connie holds the position of Associate Director for the School of Computing.
Connie completed her undergraduate studies at UNC Chapel Hill, earning a Bachelor of Science in Mathematical Sciences. She also has a Master of Science in Computer Science with Honors from Johns Hopkins University.
